- Hot Hawaiian Chili Pepper: 100% Pure Hawaiian Sea Salt with Hawaiian Chili Pepper and a touch of garlic. The Hawaiian Chili Pepper is native to the tropical Americas and appeared on our island shores in the early 1800s. It is a small pepper but packs a punch!! Use this blend sparingly, it is flavorful and intense. Add it to dishes that have the strength to counterpunch! Chili, red meats, aromatic dishes and recipes that use stronger herbs and spices, like rosemary, cumin and curries.
- Maui Onion Sea Salt Blend: Maui onions are renowned for their distinctive sweet and mild taste. Grown on the slopes of Mount Haleakala, the rich volcanic soil and warm sun create a unique flavor that works well with many different foods. The infusion of onion delivers just enough flavor to add a hint of onion to a recipe from foods as simple as popcorn and french fries, to delicious seafood dishes to roasts and soups and, of course, we highly recommend this flavor to rim the glass of a Bloody Mary!
- Moloka’i Kiawe Smoked Sea Salt: Smoked with Moloka’i Grown Kiawe Wood. Kiawe is Hawaii’s slightly sweeter version of the Mesquite Tree and Hawaii’s choice wood for smoking and roasting our favorite foods. The first Kiawe Tree was planted by Father Bachelot in Hawaii in 1828 with seeds grown in the Royal Garden in Paris. Our Moloka’i Kiawe Smoked Salt adds a bold and smoky flavor to vegetarian dishes, soups, stews, roasted meats and most important, our local favorite, Kalua Pig.
