ADD SOME PRODUCTSManoa Honey
Mānoa Honey was started in 1989 in O’ahu’s Mānoa Valley. Since its inception, they have put their very best efforts into producing the finest honey, mead, as well as specialty hive products.
They are a small, family-owned-and-operated beekeeping company with teams of beekeepers and a honey house crew, working hard every day – just like bees! Their goal is to become a unique, creative resource for our community through their skills and knowledge of beekeeping. We are passionate about providing the finest products and services here in Hawaii.
Honeybees make honey, one of the world’s most delicious and nutritious sweeteners, but they also play a very important role in the food chain. Bees are one of the most important pollinators, not only to cultivated crops but also to wild plants which are essential habitat for hundreds of wild creatures.
They raise bees all over O’ahu. One of their apiaries is on the slopes of iconic Diamond Head Crater, where they harvest their Crater Kiawe Honey. On the other side of the island, their bees forage on Christmas Berry blossoms near the coastline of the North Shore. The hot, dry west side of O’ahu is a prime location for White Kiawe Honey. They harvest fresh bee pollen daily in central O’ahu and every apiary has unique flora that creates special and distinguished honey products.
As beekeepers, artists, and mead-makers, they are deeply appreciative of Nature’s wonders. In honor of Nature’s gifts, Manoa Honey hones their crafts within the “Golden Triangle”— the special relationship between plants, bees, and mankind.
